Before I registered as a member of the RX, I lurked for approximately 2 years following the closure of Aces Gold. I had never read another forum of any kind before so this was all new to me. I also have never been in a chat room except when the RX had one.
What wasn't new was sports betting as I have been in this business for 35 years now. What made me register was I thought that I would enjoy writing down my breakdown of games that I had been doing for so long. In the first year, my write-ups were quite a bit more lengthy then they are today, but I enjoyed spending the time sharing my thoughts. I was oblivious to how my thoughts would be accepted. I simply wanted to share. Little did I know, the power of the internet and the reaction that would occur, because handicapping had for so long been a huge part of my life and success was what I had come to expect of myself. Once replies began to show up in my threads, I enjoyed and still do enjoy the interaction with my fellow posters.
Still to this day, I enjoy writing and sharing my thoughts on games. Hopefully, my thoughts help the reader pick up a point or two that they may not have been aware of which helps them make a successful decision on the game. If we all shared information and thoughts freely, the RX would operate at it's finest. We have such a diverse group from all over the world with information and knowledge specific to their particular region and area of expertise, there are many, many gems still uncovered. I wish more would share their thoughts.
