probably nothing more than a question or two, they want to make sure you know who you're sending it to....they do this regularly, it's pretty annoying but usually is quickly rectified once you call them.

If the book is saying it's locked, it could be on the books end....another words their receiver has a limit that you exceeded, this has happened to me a few times....you may have to go back and split it up (I know that sucks)

The limits on the other end change occasionally...if MG says it's not locked that is probably what's happened.

I know 1800 was a limit for a couple places I used.

There shouldn't be a problem with either one...I'm not sure what your exact problem is, the book can't collect the funds ,is that the problem?

Books have different limits they can take on one transfer, if you send around a dime there shouldn't be a problem...If you're sending upwards of two dimes it's probably best to break it into two transfers.

Best to call them ahead of time and know exactly how much they can take on one transfer.

i sent 1500 before with no problem. they said the limit was 1800 and then
he asked someone if it was 1500 or 1800 and said it was 1800. still not in my account and moneygram just closed i guess. will have to check tomorrow. western union is open 24/7 they said.

So the book couldn't pick it up at 1,800?

If you have it sent back you may have to eat the fee...unless you are looking to bet a late game, if you do ask for it bck explain to them an they may waive the fee...

Another thing to consider, the place you sent the funds from may not be able to pay you cash back (some stores pay out via check) ... I'd just wait til tomorrow to see if they can pick it up .

thanks journeyman. sure not as easy as pushing a few buttons anymore. i took all my money from offshore out of paranoia and now i'm being tortured sending some back. i hate justice.
