I'm surprised no one has posted this story. Isaac Haxton came in second in a Pokerstars sponsored event Jan 10 2007 in Atlantis Casino in the Bahamas. And what exactly can his lawyers do to get back the money. We are all in the same boat. I think the reason he is not upset is the shock hasn't set in yet. Even though it's only been 7 weeks. Poker players are a funny lot.
Because success comes so easy to some of them they think they can always make the money back. Now let's say your a sports bettor who accumulated this money over 5-6 years. How would you feel if you never get the money that Neteller has locked up.
Haxton shows only one cash in on the Cardplayer magazine database. He might have won a lot of money online. I also see that in the current LA Poker Classic he just picked up $45,560 finishing in 25th place. It was a $10,000 buy in event, 791 players. His lifetime earnings are the money in Neteller and the $45,560.
