Hahahaha, they are such stingy cocksuckers. I just went to the gas station 2 minutes away to pick up a sixer. When I came out of the gas station an officer was by my truck which was right outside the station.

He asked me for my ID, because I left my TRUCK running when I was going in and out of a gas station in less than 30 seconds - apparently that's illegal.

He checked my ID for warrants and then let me on a warning. Good thing I'm not driving without a license anymore and I'm off probation. Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with cops, I hate America sometimes for shit like this.

It is illegal. Somewhat dangerous(pop out of gear), an invitation for thieves & probably a big hint at being stolen(hacked column, have to start with a screwdriver).

Cops just want to fuck with anyone when they are the most corrupt fuckers out there. My girlfriends brother was a cop in NO, they were the worst. Some of the stories I hear make me sick. His old partner was stopped for a DUI and let off by a friend cop. Makes me sick. I second that "fuck the police" statement.

It's a gas station TTinCO, with big ass open windows and was parked 3 feet from the door. I was in and out for 20 seconds. You're telling me that any other country would give a fuck about that. They should be chasing thugs with guns n shit not cars with "unoccupied passengers".

Why cant I leave my car on if I want? When it is like 2 degrees in Ohio, I often leave it on, but lock it...

haha- unreal...seriously makes you think about the whole judicial thing.

Here's my story from last year:

Going on w/ my gf to dinner at 5:30pm on a Saturday evening. I get pulled over for speeding...asked to step out of the car...handcuffed...then thrown in back of a cruiser. Asked what is going on????

They tell me I have a suspended license, from numerous unpaid tickets. Now - i'm thoroughly confused...i've only been pulled over 3 previous times in my life...got verbal warnings, and ONE seatbelt violation ticket for like $25 (which I paid). But apparently there computer system couldnt check the history.

They wouldnt allow my g/f to drive my car home...they had it towed...and then they brought me back to the station & put me in a jail cell. I had to wait until my g/f went to an atm for me, have a probation officer or whatever come down thse station, & post my bond/bail or whatever it is.

Long story short...go to the DMV next morning...the person at the window starts laughing...she's like "well...yes, you paid your lone ticket for $25 but you paid it a day or two late...and you never paid the late surcharge'...which i never received notice about.

Had to show up for court...a month later...pay court fees/tickets/etc.

Now - all this for a person that has NEVER (not even weed) done drugs, rarely drinks, never smoked cigaretts, never broke any laws, & had previously only had one traffic violation (seatbelt).

Ask me my opinion on the judicial system...when I see the likes of Stephen Jackson - 3am on a wednesday at a strip club, firing his gun, has weed on him, and is on probabtion...but is allowed to drive back home w/out being arrested til months later? Just as an example. LOL

Yeah, like thugs who would smash out the window of a car left running by the owner and then drive off with it...and then the cops should have to hear a complaint about how cops should be patrolling more and be on the look out for more car thieves.

I thought this thread was going to be a reference to the song by NWA in the late 80's.

Maybe they can give you a ticket, but i have never seen or heard of anyone that got a ticket for it.

I am not sure the reason behind the law, but it could have to do with the threat of the wrong person having access to a running car and because someone who takes a car with the keys running will be harder to prosecute since he never had to actually break into your vehicle or hotwire the car.

Not to mention the problem you would face if someone stole your car in that situation and caused serious damage. You may be held responsible.

Voltitan - I live in Winter Park, Florida, a pretty affluent town. If I was back in Tampa where I used to live I could understand such a thing.

I know I'm coming across as a whiney little bitch but you gotta understand because I'm so sick of the police and on finally the right side of the law now and they give me this hassle? It's like a kick in the balls after working my ass off to finish prob.

I thought more people would laugh at this shit then criticize me for leaving keys in your car for 20 seconds. Hahahahaha, oh well, fuck it.

Never met one I wanted to befriend ---- but I'm glad for the nut cases who are driven to risk their lives, for basically peanuts ---- to help keep the "real" bad guys away.

That way I don't have to carry my own protection all the time.

My best bullshit run in with the cops...

I'm in South Beach taking out this gorgeous chick... Trying to make a good impression. We go to Tantra. Tantra's on a 2 lane street where cars go maybe 15mph. Anyways, both sides of their sign says valet parking, so I pull in. Fucking asshole pig comes up and tells me to get back in the car - I'm not even in the car and dont have the keys anymore. He sites me for reckless driving for driving the wrong direction even though my car was parked. It ended up costing me to get an attorney to go meet with the judge and explain the bullshit. I was facing like $1500 and up to 6 months in jail or something. The judge was understanding and wrote it down to parking the wrong direction $35.

Most cops are great. Some are just pricks. I always hoped the same ****** would come into the ER shot when I was on duty.
