DFW TX.....Rx MiniBash for Apr 21 or 22

Creating this thread way early and will periodically bump it between now and Apr 21-22 when I will be traveling to Dallas for a week of family and business.

The Little Rangers host Oakland on Saturday evening and again on Sunday afternoon (2pm start).

Am officially designating that as an Rx MiniBash and will specify the date based on responses and planned attendance.

As most know, the area around the Temple of Baseball in Arlington is rife with great bars and restuarants, plus a full range of pricing in hotels for those who might consider traveling in to join us.

We anticipate that both the Little Mavericks and the Mighty Stars will be involved in playoffs so that should add some local fervor to sports bars etc especially on Saturday night.

(would be great if Mavs were playing out west in playoffs Sat Apr 21 for a nice late start time on Texas television).

right on...More fair to say that the "DFW Bash" would be in Arlington central....I30/Collins area...or maybe the other side I30/360

Not making any promises but I might be up to a party on that Saturday after I get off work can make the drive to Big D...have family that I can stay with that night

MAX..I thought about you when I created this. Would be a good time if you were able to join us.

Watch for the thread bumps....I'm pretty sure I'm going to home in on Saturday evening game since it allows more room for those who want to party some and then have Sunday to decompress.

Sounds like a good Idea...I only have one day off work on Sunday so I know that I wont do much but drive back to Houston but the more I think about it I will plan on attending and make sure to pick a club or bar to meet after any game you guys attend since I wont get there until after 10pm on Saturday:toast:

UPDATING...

I'm afraid my attempts to jam family and social into one package is flaming out a bit.

I'll be attending the Tuesday, Apr 24 Ranger day game, but that's not exactly a spot for an Rx-style "Bash".

That said, any Rxers in the area that might be available to attend the 2pm ballgame versus Seattle are welcome to post in this thread during the couple weeks prior and we'll trade contact information.
