Before anyone thinks this could even be racist, it's not. This is from a time when television was in black & white. I know some here have never seen nor heard of such a thing, but it really did exists.

Many a time, I'd rather watch a show from 'then' instead of looking at the crap they put on now a days or listen to the radio. Life was so much simplier then and we didn't have as many problems either!

we didnt get a color tv in our home until i was 10 i still remember when my dad brought it in we put the rabbit ears on it and all sat down to watch.................GUNSMOKE

Gunsmoke a great show about family values. Much like many the shows back then.

I can remember many a time when I'd gather the family together and have them listen to the radio shows with me. One of the best gifts I got from the children was a dvd player and a couple of dvd's that have the stuff on it I like the most. Since then, I've picked up a couple more for myself.

For all you young folks out there,
do something nice for your parents so
they can enjoy their 'free time'.

And how about when they refer to believing in Santa Clause or the Easter Bunny.

Kids these days are growing up to fast!

Tell me about it...I have a 18 yr old going on 30 it seems like. I thought I was a tough kid on my parents but this girl makes me look like an angel. W/ myspace and all the other sites these kids nowadays are growing up too quick...JMO
