To be honest I really do not think there is any attempt by BetCRIS to mislead anyone. These days call for different operating models and this move by BetCRIS is what they feel is their best opportunity to service the US market. Betcris has been around for 22 years. I don't think there is any Hokkus PoKKus going on here at all.
I can think of many good reasons they may want to make such a move.
In relation to the industry as a whole, there is no doubt that right now is a state of flux when it comes to the US market... nobody knows for sure what the future brings.... but we have many good signs as the superbowl has come and gone, and all those that were predicting bookies dropping like flies were wrong, a glance at the Payment Report Thread reports people are getting paid (albeit a few processing delays) at most places without any trouble. We have also had books renew their advertising contracts. So despite the fear and the flux, wilheim is right. It is business as usual.

"March Madness" always brings gambling into the media spotlight as everyone and their mother is filling out brackets. The DOJ won't like that.:nono5: Will be interesting to see if the DOJ tries to throw a monkey wrench into our pastime by making another arrest. I'll feel a lot more confident that the industry is settling if nothing out of the ordinary happens for the next couple of months.
