I specifically asked about the max for the -105 plays, was told 500, I asked if that was ggregate or ifyou could play it multiple times - the person went to check with the manager - came back and said you can play it for 500 at a time and up to 5000 total. Based on that I decided how much to transfer in and now I try to play somethig mroe than once and it says 500 limit. What bullshit!

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

its 500 per bet...which means you have to make 10 bets at 500 to get to the 5000 max..and the line will change between those bets. Nice way for them to claim they allow 5dimes but not really if you get what I mean

You can't bet it again right away. Wait a bit or until the line moves.

if you wait and the line moves then it may not be worth 5 dimes for that bet.

5 Dimes LIED about reduce juice

Sorry about the thread title...I'm sure it will be changed soon anyways....

Starting today 3/, they claim to off -105 on all CBB sides and totals, including 1st and 2nd halfs.

So I called today to confirm it was ALL CBB lines, including halves and was told YES.

Just to be sure, waithed 1/2 hour and called back and got somebody else and she CONFIRMED that it was ALL CBB......1H, 2H sides totals, so I sent them a dime.

Come to find out, the -105 is for CBB game sides and totals....NO 1H or 2H So I called and NOW they say "sorry sir it is not for everything"

WTF???? - classic bait and switch and I will scalp that dime out of there right away and NEVER use 5D again.

I merged the two threads on same issue and will make an effort to get a definitive statement from 5Dimes as to what exactly the promo is in the morning.

Thanks Wil

I guess if it is too good to be true.....even Pinny is smart enough to only offer -108 on CBB halves. Still, if one of my employees quotes the wrong price (TWICE) I have the sack to honor it.

You might want to read through this link

It is 5dimes themselves explaining the rules.

"To clarify, we are planning on expanding our reduced offerings on basketball from the "Basketball - National TV Only" format to "Basketball - All Games" on March 1. -105 / -105 on sides, moneylines, totals. More details will be available soon in the "Rewards & Promotions" page on the website.

A maximum of $500 per wager. When the line is moved, or the limit monitor is reset, you may wager again on the event

These internet only "Reduced Juice" lines are available as an alternate option to the full juice lines. Limits at -110/-110 prices are $5000 or more per wager. 5Dimes has been offering reduced juice on selected events for years now at limits of $500. The $500 model on reduced juice works well for us. These reduced offerings in no way affect our regular wagering option limits."

Found this on the 5dime website.

Cant wait for Nickel overnite MLB personally... 500$ is plenty for the vast majority

Reduced Juice Rewards
5Dimes – Now with Even Less Juice!

We have officially expanded our reduced juice offerings to all NBA and NCAA basketball games. These offerings will be available through the NBA finals. All games will be available with 10 cent sides, 10 cent moneylines, and 10 cent totals. Reduced juice on the NHL will also continue to be available through the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Limits for Reduced Juice promotional lines range from $50 to $500. New accounts, which choose to receive a deposit bonus, will have their Reduced Juice limits lowered to $50. New accounts, which do not request an initial deposit bonus, will continue to have Reduced Juice limits of $500.

Reduced Juice is considered a promotional bonus offering. 5Dimes reserves the right to change Reduced Juice limits on any account at any time.

5Dimes site says nothing about 1H or 2H bets....just "all CBB games"

Like I said before, I called twice and was told both times it applied to halves as well.

Well when I asked I was told it was 5000 aggregate and 500 per play, I was told you could just bet it again right away. Nothing at all was said about a limit monitor or the line having to move first. Totall b.s. I deposited based on what they very clearly told me and they should make it like they quoted or all this promotion will do is piss people off. If nothing is done i'm out of there after I roll over once.

This is bullshit. They quoted that to me and I deposited based on that. They should get rid of the line must change/limit monitor bullshit or they are going to end up pissing people off with this promotion.

Dude - dont get me wrong.

If you read that other thread you will see me asking about this absurd 500 dollar limit.

Any book with a 500 dollar limit is a joke. Straight up. 500 bucks on an NCAA tournament game? Jesus.

That's not the point. The point is I was told one thing very clearly and now I find out it's not that at all. Totally misrepresented.

yes, its happened to me many times there. i'd call them up to find out the limits for a very specific event, tell them that my deposit is contingent on getting that limit, and then i log in and can't play it. i finally stopped playin there after givin them many chances

Once 5dimes handled alot more bets than they do now...must be the reason for the strange wording on the $500.00 limit. If its true they only allow $500.00 and then you have to wait until the line moves then that is not acceptable....

I spoke to 5Dimes about the promo and players are allowed to bet up to $5,000 but basically you will need to place each sequential bet at the next number, in some cases the next number might just be a few cents eg. -105 to -107. You can do it over the internet or over the phone. Occasionally a game may not move off a single $500 bet and a player might get a second $500 at the same number but I highly doubt anyone will ever get a third $500 at the same number.

Personal observation is this promo is not that attractive for players like Nimue who want to play high but a very good deal for the guy that just wants to bet a nickel or a dime at reduced juice in a good shop like 5Dimes.

Thanks, wil..
