Reggie Jackson - Mr. October, 1977 World Series-Game 6

Inning 2 - Hooton into the windup, the pitch-BOOM
Inning 5 - Sosa into the windup, the pitch - BOOM
Inning 8- Hough into the windup, the pitch - BOOM

His third home run on three pitches was the most gargantuan of the night, a 450-foot missle to the empty black bleacher seats in deep center, and it simultaneously broke the backs of the Dodgers and cemented Reggie Jackson's reputation as New York's new postseason star.

1994 playoffs vs Devils. "I guarantee we'll win tonight."

Then goes ahead and sticks 3 behind Brodeur to back up his claim.

Oh, then he went on to win the Cup, too.

Good call on Horry gyno, I'd also throw in Mr. Big Shot Chauncy Billups and Sam Cassel.

a warrior.

"One of the reasons that made it so special to play here is that I was born and raised here," he said to the crowd. "To be honored in this way, standing down here, is a humbling experience."

and on HIS day he takes the time to acknowledge The Great One:

"Tonight would not have been the same without Wayne being here," Messier said. "Wayne was our leader. He was our inspiration. He was the guy we leaned on and he never let us down and never put himself above anybody."

Federer.

Shane Warne (well as clutch as you can get in cricket).

Ricky Ponting (cricket again, unbelievably consistent). Up until recently you could just name the whole aussie team as clutch.

Richie Mccaw. He always seems to be the difference in close games.

Johnny Wilkinson. Like every other australian I was hoping he'd break his leg during the world cup final. After Mat Rogers kicked the ball out the game was over. All England had to do was give Johnny a little room and so they did.
