o.k i don't want to harp on this too much. i took your advise and did this and it worked. however today it is happening again and the weird part is it is only certain threads (not all threads)

if i see one i really want to read, after trying 3 or 4 times i simply log out and immediately log back in and i am able to read.

evidently i am the only one having this trouble and would just like to know why this may be happening.never been a problem in the past until you did this upgrade, now even each time i visit i have to log in even though i check the remember me button.

thanks

Hi Buster ,
when we did the upgrade , the cookies ( file where the forum software stores session information ) changed , the name of the cookies changed , so in some cases some old cookies might cause this type of behavior.

Try not only cleaning your temp. internet files but also CLEAR ALL COOKIES

Give it a try since that might help a lot.

Cheers
