Well..thats not official yet.

The latest is:

There has been some speculation that Jake Plummer is threatening to retire because he wants to play for Gary Kubiak in Houston.

He could force the Broncos to release him. Houston was interested in Plummer, but they wouldn't give up a draft pick with Sage Rosenfels already on the roster. Plummer seems to want to avoid another QB controversy. The only way to do that is to retire.

Actually, as a Bucfan, I'm glad it fell through. He's Trent Dilfer w/o the ring.
