I hate fricking state lotteries. Biggest ripoff out there but I'll be damned if I'm the only one not chipping in to the work pool in case these idiots by some miracle actually happen to win.:nuts:

Wasn't there a very recent case where a guy who did just this (after previously always joining in the pool? I want to say that it was the FIRST time that he didn't chip in.

How about this. I heard some guy played the same numbers every drawing. For some reason he skipped a drawing and his combination of numbers was drawn.

Yeah .. I think the other people who played were going to each give the guy some money. Not an exact percentage of what he would have got, but they did give him some money.

This is probably why half the people continue gambling on the lottery. If their numbers came up and they didn't buy the ticket, or if the group one but someone decided to skip it. Gambling on the lottery? Just throw a few bucks at a stripper or something.
