The response to our new free odds page has been even better then we imagined, so we have decide to take the next step and develop a full service live odds product.

theRXOdds will feature:
  • Live odds from the top sportsbooks
  • Fast and accurate injury reporting
  • Fast and accurate scoring updates
  • Full featured user interface built with the latest technology
Development on theRXOdds has already begun and we hope to have the first version available sometime in April.

We want this product to be the absolute best, so I would love to hear any and all suggestions.

Thanks,

I know this service will include feeds from all of the top offshore sportsbooks (not just Rx. sponsers).

Will the service include numbers from any of the big books on the strip in Las Vegas?

Thanks, wil..

First let me say, this is marvelous addition to the RX and surely has taken a tremendous amount of work. I am a bit hesitant, but since you asked for suggestions, I will mention one item that I find very useful and that is Line History. Perhaps, you already plan for this with the new technology but I thought it worthwhile to mention. Regardless, excellent job.

Can you not see the odds on your Mac as they are now? I'm on a Mac also and they're fine for me. What browser and OS do you use?

I agree, archived line changes are a must and will be in the first version.

Thanks

Thanks Max.

Yes, this will be a subscription based product. We have not set our final pricing yet, but I can tell you that it will be VERY affordable. Also, there will be both professional and recreational versions.

Thanks,
Rick

Obviously any attempt to enter the subscription based marketplace will inevitably lead to a definition of live, when compared to other products in the marketplace, especially as tends to a "professional" version.

The updates on the professional version will be at least as fast as any other product. We are using some new technology that may make them even faster.

The recreational version will be a little slower.

Thanks

It sounds like a fee is going to be charged for the improved RX line service soon. Will there still be a free service of the caliber we have today or will it be gone?

Try Firefox for Mac and see if that works for you. It's what I use. My OS is OSX Panther, which I think is 10.4 or something. Can't see why Firefox doesn't work for you. (Plus, the 'tabs' are brilliant.)
