They are emails that look like they come from your bank. They want you to click on a link so you can give them some personal information like your SS#, date of birth etc. They'll claim that there is a security problem or something like that so that you give them the above information.
I get these every other day with just another bank being used or maybe PayPal. Sometimes I'll dick around and give them phony information to waste their time.
