Only to help promote his film The Condemned though.

I wonder if Vinnie Jones will be involved for Wrestlemania 23? I think the WWE were trying to brew some rivalry between the two when Vinnie Jones appeared back at some PPV event.

Having Austin involved helps but it seems like a pretty watered down card for a WM as it stands now.

Austin looked pretty old and worn out, at least to me. How does Vince McMahan look so good ?

the question has never been is it real or not...in a way it's very real, the outcome may already be determined in 99.5% of all matches but there's a great deal of reality involved....

Death and athleticism are very real and wrestling is full of both.... as far as 'who still watches it' , well everytime we start a thread about wrestling the thread is full of interesting responses , plenty still watch wrestling obviously.

Wrestling is more mainstream than you think....who cares if the outcome is fixed, the Steelers last Super Bowl win was fixed, what's the difference? :bigfinger :missingte :think2:

No doubt about it, most wrestlers die a slow agonizing death after wrestling figurativly and literally....

I was watching old YouTube videos from the past decade , in almost every video there's a dead wrestler or two or three....

Unless you are in the very top percentage of wrestling it's usually a real sad end....and even the stars are dying in their late 30's to 40's...that is reality.

in related news...

Kurt Angle just named (as well Gary Matthews Jr, Jerry Hairston Jr., David Bell, etc) in receiving HGH in that recent Orlando pharmacy bust.

Shocking news, huh? lol

WWE let Angle go because they're afraid he will be the next dead wrestler who's overdosing on all kinds of stuff....anyone who's followed him can see he's not the same guy... even in the ring he's half nuts now during his matches.

Can we get back on topic fellas.

WM card is watered down because the writers have no earthly idea what the hell they are doing.

Michaels Vs Cena - It doesnt even make sense. Now they have them in these tag matches trying to build heat and cant do it. Tags that break up that have a good fight have been tags for a long time and one turns on the other. They make a wrestlemania match than start teaming them together. WTF

Haircut match- Not so against the idea. Kind fo old school Brutus the beefcake. But the Competitors - Umaga and Lashley.??? So they have the ECW champ vs the Intercont Champ. What the hell is that? So both of those belts are not being defended now on top of the fact those two guys have no heat between each other.

WWE is really confused right now

Ask all the people who know the business & if it is real. Try doing their job for 300 days a year & you will start to see why:

1. Many die young (40's is young imo)

2. Many are addicted to painkillers

3. Many have some sort of drug or alcohol problem

4. Are never the same health wise after retiring

The outcomes are determined in advance but believe me the sport is far from beyond fake.

Look at Bret Hart for instance. One kick yes that is right one kick & he never wrestled again, has had a stroke & has not been the same.

I respect those guys more than any other profession for what they do to give to the fans.

Pushing Umaga , I don't like it either...that match is odd to me.

The WWE misses Foley Austin, Rock, HHH , Angle, Hart, Jericho and Guerrero.
