If Joakim Noah of Florida had declared for the NBA draft last season after the Gators won the national championship, he likely would have been the No. 1 or certainly No. 2 pick by the Bulls, who were enchanted with him like most of the NBA. ">But Noah returned to school and has not been close to the player he was last season, and some scouts are saying he might not even be a top-10 pick anymore. "I don't feel like I've been contributing the way I should," Noah told a Florida newspaper after his team had lost three of four, in which he averaged just six points.

As well he should be...

Hmm who would you take Oden, Durant or "Jo'no" , he's got a great motor but lacks offensive skills to say the least, I can't see him scoring 8 PPG in the NBA....maybe he could be another Rodman type player rebound and play great defense but he needs to gain about 30-40lbslbs...they will just push him out of the paint like a middle school kid in the NBA.

It's the system!

Florida is a team and will never be 1 player. Look at David Lee now and look what he did at Florida. Noah will be a great N.B.A. player because he will never try to win a game by himself like 80% of the N.B.A.

Who ever gets the guy will be getting a 10 year starter and improve their team instantly. He's a sure thing.

Definitely. I don't think Noah is even drafted in the first round. He doesn't even look like an NBA player to me. He can't shoot from the outside. His moves are so slow he gets stripped all the time. He is clumsy at times. What position is he going to play in the NBA? Small forward? No! Power forward. Poorly! If I was a GM, I wouldn't even consider him.

I think Noah is the absolute most Over rated player in the country...yes, he brings emotion, but the guy lacks the talent and ability to perform on a consistent basis night in night out...He's not a scorer, not a shot blocker, i guess hes a rebounder...Not really a threat IMO

OMG...he has no real jump shot :WTF:

Where do you put him in the NBA, small forward? At his size/lack of weight?

I agree, he's dropped out of the 1st rd..... and the only reason anyone will draft him in the 2nd is because of his height.

The guy's got a very grating personality also. You can't help but just hate the guy... like when he winks at opposing team's cheerleaders. He'll become a discipline problem for whichever team drafts him. I predict out of the league in 4 seasons.

Noah is an energy player that will play in the NBA for a while, but in terms of being a top 10 pick, i can't imagine wasting a lottery pick on a kid with limited offensive ability.

I rather go after one of the young freshmen or foreign players and possibly land a stud.

ummm...according to every NBA Draft watchdog site...he's still a 1st round pick...not even up for argument.

Here's a great site...that I follow throughout the year...has updated articles for draft geeks, like myself.

http://draftexpress.com/index.php

I can see Al Horford being picked ahead of Noah...but he'll still be picked ahead of Corey Brewer (or Taurean Green)...Brewer has had a dissappointing season as well, imo.

Not saying he'll be a good NBA player...But there's is zero shot, that he lasts til the 2nd round...still a top 15 pick, w/out a doubt.

Another reason to leave school early kids.

This is what they never tell you, that staying can be bad for you

Agree if you know you will be a top pick you gotta take it. School is always available to comeback to.

This is a prime example of how you can basically lose millions. Then add in the injury factor, which can sometimes be career ending.:ohno:

Well I don't think money is one of his concerns since his father is a famous/rich athlete and singer. I'm pretty sure if he was from a poor neighborhood then he would've left early for the NBA after last season.

If it went by who can scream loudest after making an uncontested dunk or who pounds their chest the most during a game, then noah would be the #1 pick in the draft. the guy is a punk

He does overdue it but he plays with emotion and fires his team up...
