Why does it take so long to put my money into my account??

I just sent a western union transfer to thegreek. They picked it up at 1130est(called WU) and an hour later, no funds are in there yet.

It cant be that hard,.

Use to be that the money was in there in less that 10-15 min at most books...

Some books will issue "discretionary credit" to you until the funds are actually picked up. Maybe you got yourself blacklisted to an extent due to something.....maybe that little issue with Pinnacle(?).

Bingo ... I get my money in 5 minutes and I KNOW they haven't verified it.

They have their own "credit score"

FINALLY just got my money credited. 3 hours later, they said that there western union processor was down.

On another note, sending 350 thru western union only cost me $5 today.

dont know why but......

Did you use any preffered customer points from Western Union...that may be the reason

Nope, dont even know what that is, I thought the lady did it wrong and I checked it about 5 times before I left. Everything ended up being ok, I asked WU on the phone why the transfer was only 5 instead of like 35 and they said they really didnt know but they could be running a promotion, I wasnt complaining, just confused. Would be very nice if it stayed at 5 for a WU transfer.

betjamaica does this I believe they close at 7pm for pickups of western union-- thats why they will give ya a credit..

If their is something wrong with the transaction the next morning all plays will be invalid... from the night before.fwiw
