If you send western union through a bank, its only $5 per transfer!

Just did this two days in a row, first time I thought they messed up, then today it was $5 to send to betjam.

So if you have a bank that does western unions, do it there.

actually this is the only bank that I ever saw do western unions, its in my walmart. The bank is called like forestgrove or something.

Doesn't sound right, 5 bucks, why would they do it for no profit? Maybe it's a bank perk? You'd think we would have heard about this by now. Can you call the bank to send it?

Why don't you go down to the bank and ask them what's the deal. Then you can report back to us on how it works and if other banks offer it.

MOney Gram does it too. You have to signup online. Ask for SS#
Ask 20/20 question like a security clearance test. Well at least for moneygram not sure about Western Union.

We understand you can send money via MG and WU to a book, the point is the $5 is ridiculous. If you were normally going to send 2-3 dimes to a book it'd be a few hundred dollars in fees (if the book doesn't pick it up for you).
