Late info, bad scores, and they are always behind EVERYONE in injuries...remember when Al and the family were running it, was very dependable at one time.....

Al passed......RIP.....and the one-time small bizness became big-time with big-time problems.

Did any of you notice a few weeks ago that for a day or so Don Best replaced all of their usual "fantasy sports" type ads with ads targeted at teenagers--like for free ringtones, free iPods and for the spyware virtual "paper doll" the Zwinky? I don't know if it was a mistake on the part of the company that serves their ads, or a "test" that obviously didn't work....I did a blog post on it since I found it pretty amusing:

'Twas much better when Al and Dana ran it, even if they did hold up the moves until certain folks were down, and/or do some phonies for their BM friends.

Thinking of going GJ lately.

Someone on this forum was pushing SI to me recently, and it sounded like they were soon upgrading their service, which I had dabbled with before moving to DonBest. I may follow his advice and go back. I also tried G&J for a month or two, but after their (version of) steam plays ("Wise guy moves") encountered a tremendous losing streak, I moved on. I do agree that DB has been off a bit lately, particularly the Pinny line and Greek line have been delayed/off (and I'm talking about the Premium service!). The line move alerts also don't seem to work as they should. I set the line alert to go off if any two books, within 30 seconds, move any line 1 full point....and the software is clearly not able to deliver consistent, timely results in response to that instruction.

So guys, is it G&J or SI? Or is there another out there?

Any group of plays is going to hit a cold streak. If you are looking for timely and accurate line moves, injury alerts, etc... SI wont compare to G&J. Its just different technology and a different model I think. I was under the assumption that SI was for betting %'s.

If you are interested in the GJ service, mention theRX and get 1 month free with the purchase of the first month.

Don Best Premium hit an all time low tonight with the McNeal(Marquette) injury situation. We aren't talking about some obscure game on Friday night, we are talking about March Madness.

Viejo, I called their office and asked for a simple explanation. After hearing their side of the story, I told the person on the phone that no news is better than wrong news. He disagreed, and then i told him that in today's "climate" Don Best isn't as important as it once was. They are officially on probation with me. I'd rather blow the money to you on the golf course. Good Luck

Believe me, I have called them 6 times in the past week....they say mistakes there are technical problems, but when I point out their mistakes, it is quickly made correct...it sometimes takes them a good 3 minutes to go to halves when the halftime is supposed to be up....and do not get me started with injuries....I used to think they bet, but they are too incompetent to do so...I do not know who owns them now, but they used to be good....
