I make only $2000 and $4000 bets and the sharp info that i use performs well. Obviously i wanted more books to spread my wagers and decided to open account with vip spoprts. My sharpie went nearly flawless last week and vipsports politely told me that i am not welcome to bet with them anymore.

NCAAB Normal Plays: 20-8 +$10.6
NCAAB Big Plays: 6-4-1 +$3.16

OVERALL PROFIT: +$24.86*
*$ Jarheadtips profit amount is based on $1 bet per normal play and $2 bet per big play

This happened as soon as i won $20000 in a matter of 3 days (sometime after some plays were completed on march 8). They didnt steal my money....i was allowed to withdraw but they just dont want me with them. If they had let me finish the week i could have ripped them for $50k last week. It is insane and ridiculoous how books just kick you out. Similar incident occered couple of months ago with bet365. I fucking miss pinnacle

I hope betcris and thegreek doesnt follow the footsteps of pinnacle. If that happens i will have to re-locate.

99% of the books out there will do the same thing if you nail them like that, offshore and Vegas both.

Fact of life in this business.

picking winners is only half the battle. the other half is getting your money down if you are betting nickels plus.

never had a problem with pinnacle or betcris. they did lower the betting limits though....but it was ok as they already had very high limites and when the lowered it, i managed to split it among pinnacle, betcris and thegreek. i was just mad because i moved a lot of money to vipsports hoping to stay there for a while...but they were quick to kick me out.

Agree its bush league for books to toss winners, but most books are not going to pay too much/too often before a guy is shown the door.

Not sure why any book would toss someone only after 3 days of winning.

However, Id rather see books toss winners (paid in full), than keep winners around and slow pay and/or stiff.

I find it very hard to believe pinnacle limited your action.

perhaps you were playing there on credit and it was your agent that lowered the limits and passed it off like it was pinny.

same goes with CRIS. heard of Greek doing this a few times......think you would have to be up substantially for it to happen though.

VIP is pretty square....no surprise there.......

I dont believe pinnacle cut off winning players, but I do know that if players consistently beat them to moves, they will reduce opening line betting limits.

i dont think pinnacle's lowering my limit has anything to do with my bettings becaus my betting amount was only a fraction of pinnacle's super high limits. they limited the wagers just weeks before they shut down americans....so it has to be some other reasons. eventually all americans were reduced to penny limits.

pinnacle, greek, betcris are the only 3 books that can accomodate all types of bettors. well now its only greek and betcris....it still sucks...so hard to move money these days.

i hope things go back to pre 2007 era soon.

agreed...."henry" himself is on record as saying he hates people sitting in front of the computer beating him to the punch on the steam moves....pretty sure you would still have to be betting nickels or even dimes plus on the major sports for them to take action. Don't know for sure though, I never had a problem and played some moves there...Would be a good thread topic.

dont get me wrong...i never had problems with pinnacle. thats why miss them.

when i said the lowered the limits..it was before 2 weeks before they pulled the plug. so it has nothing to do with my betting. like i said i bet only $2k and $4k bets. that is beer money compared to pinnacle's limit of pro games.

is there any other books that sits up there with pinnacle, betcris and the greek who wont kick out players? any suggestions...i still havent found a replacement for pinnacle. i know it is impossible to replace pinnacle but just looking for someone up in the ladder.

Maybe try Cascade. They cut me down to $500 then $200 then was shown the door recentley....but they claim it was my agent. Damn shame too been playing there for years and had solid opinonated lines with reduced juice.

Heritage used to welcome sharp action but not any longer.

most of these tops books are just gambling operations anyways.

If I owned a book and a guy was nailing me at 60% year end year out and was always on top of the number I'd keep him happy and let him play, maybe give him a 5 dime limit and bet his plays myself for 100 dimes all over. That is pinnys business model. Greek does the same. Not sure about CRIS. VD would know.

do you have any experience with diamond or hollywood? they are both rated high in SBR. But again SBR has VIPsports rated so high as well.

How is VIP planning to pay you?
A check by regular mail for 20K? Of course it will probably take months since the check will be lost 3-4 times or maybe they will never mail you the check?

I am still waiting for my little payout by regular mail since they didnt want to send it to me by FEdEX even though I was willing to pay the fees

VIP is the biggest square shop there is. They like losers only. I got my amounts cut in record time.

I think books are scared of me or something. I played ridiculous parlays at VIP/Nine forever and never had an account closed.
