Worst Betting Beat?

I know everyone has quite a few but my biggest bad beat was when my hometown freaking Giants blew a 25 point lead to the Niners in the playoffs a few years back:smoking:

plus i had nice odds on the ML for that game

still burns me to this day, Freaking Strahan pointing to the scoreboard to TO

I had a NBA bet where i needed the over for one quarter, they missed about 4 just gimme layups and almost half the free throws....i lost by 2 points that one stung

Pittsburgh/Marquettes 2nd meeting had under 72 2nd half...they scored 25 pts in the last MINUTE...ONE MINUTE

This last year's meeting between Notre Dame/Tennessee. Teased Tennessee to +16.5, teams tied going into the 4th quarter. ND scores a TD within the first couple minutes, then Ainge throws 2 INTs for TD's, with one coming in the final 3 minutes and they lose by 21.

Immaculate reception(1972). I was a sophomore in college. The Raiders trailed 0-6(+4) until a little over a minute left in the game, when they scored a TD to take the lead. The rest is history.

The Eagles running Drew Bledsoes past in the endzone and running it all the way back for the TD cost me mad dough. Dont remember if I had it teased or str8 but just remember that TD cost me a fortune.

Haha, sorry, I won that one and that was my most miraculous win.

My worst beat was an under in a Phoenix game a few years back, Amare his a half-court buzzer-beater to send it to OT, it would have still stayed under in OT but Amare hit ANOTHER half-court buzzer-beater to send it to 2OT.

Yes at the buzzer. I remember it quite well. I think I had Cleveland +7.5 and they were down 10 when Lebron heaved a 3/4-court shot and Wade goaltended it after the buzzer.

i bet HUGE on ARI +635 or whatever on MNF against chicago. Up 13 with the ball, 5;29 left, 2nd down chi has 2 timeouts and i lose. I'm sure everyone remembers it

I'd say somewhere between 1997 and 2000 the Bills played the Pats. The Bills were winning and the Pats were driving for a game winning drive. There were some BS calls against the Bills and the Pats scored a TD with no time left. The bills players were so pissed that they just walked off the field without playing the extra point. The Pats ran a 2 point conversion. I would have had a push with the extra point, but the 2 point conversion made it a lose. I'm sure some people remember this.

Another one that I was fortunate with was the Cal/Texas A&M bowl game going over. There wasn't anyway it looked like it was going over, but they exploded in the 4th. With Cal up big they put a backup senior QB in to run out the clock at about the 5 yard line. The QB calls a play and they score. The game went over. Cals head coach was pissed since it seemed like he was running up the score.

I can tell you about the biggest miracle win ever, which I doubt anybody could top.

2005 final 4 I had Illinois ML parlayed with Lousville ML. Louisville was down 20 in the 2nd half and won in OT, Illinois was down 15 with 4 minutes left and had no shot...and somehow won in OT.

In the Masters back in 2001 or 2002, I had the highest 18 hole score over 87.5. The guy I was targeting was Doug Ford, one of those old farts who was a prior champion. He had shot 88 the prior year, and with the course being lengthened there was no way he was gonna break 90. Looked like free money. Well, I was right about one thing - he definitely wasn't gonna break 90. Ford double-bogeyed #1, then walked off the course. LOSER

I don't think anyone's going to be able to top the Dwayne Wade goaltend, though. That's the stuff of legend.
