So a guy who professed his innocence for 10+ years claiming he never bet baseball..... now claims he never bet against his own team.... even though there's betting slips that prove otherwise. Sure, we believe you, Pete "Hall of Shame" Rose.

He's got my vote for the Hall until someone can show me one instance where he threw a game as either a player or a coach. As far as I know, he's never done anything even suspicious of point shaving.

Pete Rose has stooped to new lows. I was a fan of his until this. He is trying to weasel out of the FACT that he comprised his team by betting on them sometimes. It won't work. I did like his book though.....he didn't hold back....he loved to FIRE....fired at the horses as well. He was like a kid in a candy store when he described making a few scores. It's in his blood.
