I found a major mistake in a line that they posted today that would have actually been legit to have made a HUGE bet on. As it turns out, it would've been a winner and a huge middle too, which is besides the point. However, rather than bet it, I called it in and they acknowledged I was right. I spoke to a bet supervisor who said they "might" be able to do something for me and to call back in a 1/2 hr. After being told about 5 times on proceeding calls to keep calling back, the guy I was dealing with was gone 4 hrs later, and they didn't do shit for me. I learned my lesson. I gave them a chance. Don't ever call a bad line in there.

why does everyone want a medal for simply doing the right thing?

Not a medal. It's debatable what is the right thing. The books will happily take your money. Next time I will bet the shit out of their bad line and let them be the ones to find it.

Another CRIS customer service thread. These pop up every two weeks or so. Their CS is one of the worst in the business, but your money is safe.

why does everyone want a medal for simply doing the right thing?

Also, I would think saving them thousands of dollars or the hassle of canceling bets and emailing customers would be worth something.

Some books care more about this kind of thing than others. When I have reported mistakes at points over the years, I cannot ever remember being given anything for it. You always hope you might get some kind of gesture in return, but never count on it.

bet it first and then call them...many books will let your bet stand & they'll fix the line...if not, then you get an immediate cancellation & you're not getting free-rolled by the book...
