I have had zero issues with Skybook but do have a stiff complaint on betmania which for almost 2 months now and if the story that has been going around is true, Skybook vouches for Betmania? I noticed Skybook got downgraded at SportsBookReview (SBR).

It looks like Bill Dozer told the forum its because BetMania are stiffs which I already knew and skybook is related to them.

Whats the Truth behind skybook getting downgraded. "Do I need to be concerned with them now?"

The only books I know of that have had no processing problems are OLympic, Jamaica, and Instantaction.

Every other major book has had some type of issue.

IMHO, I trust skybook. I would not have money at Mania right now. They have a special $2500/2week processor that must think the law said you can only pay every two weeks and then only $2500...

BH - There is no affiliation between Skybook and BetMania.

I have no idea why SBR would downgrade Skybook. They have done nothing but pay for as long as they have been around. Skybook is not the only book that I have seen them downgrade without a valid reason. I will say this, downgrades (and upgrades) are good for their site as it give the appearance that there is constant action, thus making a need for visitor to come back to SBR. So I guess some books have to suffer to for SBR to satisfy their business model.

Please email me the details of your situation with BetMania and I will contact them.

Thanks
Rick

Thank You for responding to my question about the current situation with Betmania and Skybook and what will happen if the problem is not assessed. I apologize for acting overly-emotional in my comment… it’s easy to get carried away on the internet.

I agree with You Rick regarding the justifications of SBR, and I understand that there services they provide would be in decline without proper merit reasons, but I still have some qualms (of course). My primary disagreement with SBR is they do not offer valid reasons sometimes regarding downgrades or upgrades , whether they use there own services or not they should give a reason.

Likewise at The Prescription I have buddies who live in other states that will not research into what sportsbook to use when searching The Prescription and that’s one of many reasons as to why I see SBR ratings once in awhile necessary for discussion.

I will be sending you an email Mr Rick with my situation.

Yours Truly

Skybook is as strong as ever right now and recently hired a well respected new lines manager (Fernando). The downgrade probably was caused by internet rumors that were started after Skybook reduced staff following this last Super Bowl.

BetMania is also very solvent and anyone whith a problem there only has to email either myself at wilheim@therx.com or Rick to have your situation immediately looked into.

Thanks, wilheim..

You just prove more and more that you are talking out of your ass when you say the limit is 2500 every two weeks. That's not the case.

And another thing, it's a processor issue at all the books that are having issues except sportsbook, where there they are simply stiffing people? It's all conjecture on your part, and your opinions need to be taken with a grain of salt.

I would add Caribsports.com to that list. I got paid overnight by them!

I got a payout from Betmania about 2 weeks ago for a little under $600 and had no problems. It took about 4 days from when I requested the money to when I got it (via Western Union). I guess since my payout amount was such a relatively small amount there were no issues, I don't know.

I could not tell you about today, but as of 3 days ago, betmania had a $2500 per withdrawal limit and you could only withdraw every two weeks. Maybe you can find a person or two whom this was not true for, but if you read the forums here, across the way and at SBR, you'll see countless people who have confirmed this.

No problems with Bet Mania except for payout processing delays. It is irresponsible for posters to come on here and degrade Bet Mania as to their financial situation. I'd be pissed at the moderators for allowing this to happen if I was a sponsor.

Thank You Rick for your response,

I hope you under Sbr's and other watchdogs thoughts now on Skybook and BetMania's Downgrade.

I would personally like to say Skybook is a very reliable out and hopefully will continue to be a safe and secure place for players and processor companies alike. I will contunue to evaluate BetMania and Skybooks relationship along with the history Tomas from BetMania has had prior with BetOnSports Inc.
