I know we have a bunch of chest thumpers here. So how many of you will put yourself and more importantly somebody else in danger today. I hope if you do you only kill yourself and not somebody just driving home from work. The cops will have a fun day today with all the morons on the road.

How about taking a different approach there right side??

Instead, let's encourage all of the chest thumpers to think twice about driving today/tonight and give your keys to someone else!

Come on now. What else can society do to try an end all the drinking and driving. People are still idiots and do it. I was trying something different.

Please please do not kill a family on the road today. Just get a damn taxi.

lets try to keep the holier than thou attitude out of theses forums. we dont need any advice from anyone about how to live or drive. We all know that drinking and driving is a calculated risk with potential consequences, but please no moral advice or speeches.

What kind of moron are you? "Your" decision could KILL someone else you idiot. Moral speeches will be the least of your problem if you drink, drive, then kill someone. You must be a person that drives drunk and brags about how wasted you got and have no clue how you made it home. Does that sound like a smart thing to do. Maybe you will only hit a tree and kill yourself and not some family driving around town.

A lot of the decisions you make could kill someone, rightside. Ever drive while tired, rightside? Ever use your cell phone or drive over the speed limit. I'm sure you don't because you never make mistakes and are a perfect human being. Maybe someone should follow you around and preach how big of a moron you are for doing x. We all know you shouldn't drink and drive. We all know the what can happen after making the decision to get behind the wheel impaired, whether it be financially or the effect on someones loved ones. We are adults and live in America. We have the right to make our own choices and then, if necessary suffer consequences of those choices. A simple "remember to take taxis today" would have been a fine and sufficient message. A "I hope you die" is rude and uncalled for. Take the elephant shaped stick out of your ass and go buy another vending machine.

Rightside, I am getting wasted - Irish Whiskey and Guiness in honor of the holiday - I plan on seeing exactly how fast my C6 can go - they say it does 186 - I had the gears switched out so my top end is a little lower but the initial launch is much quicker (violent is a better description) - I am thinking maybe 175-180 - where do you live - maybe I can top it out on your street after 10 Guiness and 5 Irish whiskeys?

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Bernalillo County sheriff's deputies have arrested a man on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, marking his 28th such offense. Joseph Brill, 53, was driving on a revoked license when deputies saw him park in a driveway in a northeast Albuquerque neighborhood and fall out of his pickup truck Wednesday evening. He smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech, according to a criminal complaint.

Deputies said they tried to give Brill a field sobriety test but he could not complete the test. He then refused to give a breath test.

Deputies also found an open container of beer in his truck.

"People like Joseph Brill will never get it. They don't care," Sheriff Darren White said. "He needs to go to prison, and that's the way we're going to insure he does not drive a car drunk."

According to the complaint, Brill had 27 prior DWI offenses with at least 14 convictions before his arrest Wednesday. Records also show that he has had his license revoked five times and has spent nearly four years in New Mexico jails and prisons on DWI charges.

At the time of his arrest, he was on parole for two of the convictions, according to records.

Linda Atkinson, executive director of the Albuquerque-based DWI Resource Center, said she had never seen someone with 28 DWI arrests.

"It's pretty disgusting to see someone who can continue to defy the odds with a history like that," she said.

Brill was being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center on a $100,000 bond. His case will be heard in state district court because it is a felony.

Under New Mexico law, the maximum sentence for a seventh or subsequent DWI is three years in prison, a $5,000 fine, alcohol treatment and lifetime driver's license revocation.
