My top candidate is sportsbook.com

List up to 3 you think could soon fold after tournament.

Any particular reasons why particular books will fold are also encouraged.

One thing I know for certain.

Skybook is not going anywhere, they are finacially solid and very well managed.

Doubtful, too, that Ken has such a following that it could affect Skybook that much. Royal would have closed ages ago if that were the case.

Morris the Cat may have Nine Lives, and Lenny always seems to have Nine Lenders, thus Cascade will always be around regardless of what you hear, though it leaves questions as to why this wiseguy store is always seemingly cash poor..especially with many of the sharps taking a bath the last while.

Skybook, despite being generic, lower limits, and a "gadget out", is one of the best known brand names in the industry, has always had unique offerings, and has excellent customer service.

These two are gonna be around.

Not sure if you'll see any big name books go but some smaller ones could. Like C or D rated type shops. I think most places will stick around. None closed up after the superbowl like many thought

The rumors of Cascades demise are exagerated....after that bang-up year the books had in the NFL they are all flush with cash...I don't see anybody closing shop. FWIW Cascade's owner has some personal problems but they will be strong again soon. Dude kills in it bases.

You are correct, they won't fold anytime soon. I can tell they are viable because Greek transfers with them. They may get smaller, but aren't going away soon.

For better known books, these scare me:

Royal.... Big recent bonus offer, as well as cold calls
SB.com.... lets see some pays come thru, plus they pissed off a lot of customers that they may lose.
Mania.... gut feeling

For myself I'll stick with Greek,WSEX,5D mainly.

No major books will fold.

I tend to agree, with the caveat that these are hardly the best of times offshore (thanx, Geo & friends!)

Would you consider all rx advertertisers to be "major books?"

(Anyway, after the Final Four - except for a short fistful of dollars for some light horseracing - I'm out of offshore until Aug or Sept; don't play pro hoops, bases, puck, golf etc)

I would not have money in the sportsbook group or betmania at this time if possible.
