sorry guys but i disagree. from top to bottom they were the best conference. the only conference to have every team with at least 12 wins, every team ranked in the top 50 at one time, 10 teams with 20 or more wins..... and you guys are throwing rocks at them because only 1 team left in the ncaa, a tourney that the conference is at the moment at a fair 6-6 record. talk about a knee jerk reaction. better think again guys.

All true but, when you have one team left at this point, it is a down year....The ACC usually has 3-4 teams still alive.

Duke lost to a mid-major.
Maryland lost to a mid-major.
Va Tech was handed the Illinois game, then lost to a mid-major.
Virginia lost to Tennessee who plays no defense.
BC lost to Big East Champ Georgetown.

Billy Packer couldn't even defend this performance. At least the Big 10 lost to some #1 seeds.

maybe you didn't notice the ACC beat 2 big 10 teams, plus FSU won at Michigan in the NIT, to add to the domination of the ACC over the Big 10

Butler is a strong mid major. They have been a ranked team all year.
Southern Illinois is another highly ranked team.
Reynolds getting hurt cost Virginia.
Gtown is a great team.

Not saying its been a good tourny. Just think everyone is overreacting. OHio state is lucky to have made it into sweet 16. Pac ten is having the best tournament of anyone and I think are slightly better than the ACC and those two are ahead of the rest.

Missed one. This was a below average Duke team all year.

I really think the selection comittee has got to get more mid majors in next year.

I always felt the cavs and hokies overachieved this year and really set the tone for what the conference was like for the season. Back in October, I would've never expected to see both those teams in the round of 32.
