Memorial Day Weekend Newport mini-bash, Thursday May 24- Monday 29. I know Teazeman and Mrs. Teaze will be shopping in New York that week and have made plans to come visit me in Newport the weekend of Memorial Day. This is an open invite to any/all poster's that may be interested in visiting my lovely little town by the sea.

Great area for sure. I went last summer around July 4 when that Women's US Open Gold tournament was going on. It kicks ass.

Newport is a beautiful spot, I have been there dozens of times. Here is a shot of a few mansions along the famous 12 mile drive in Newport.

LOL ... I was on Ocean Drive that day ... and you couldn't see further than 20 feet because of the fog. They even had to cancel play in the US Open.

Newport is a lot of fun in the summer time. Hopefully we will have some decent weather and down a few pints in the sunshine. I know the Maryland/Virginia terrorists said they might come - we shall see !

Yeah, it took some time to get that tournament going because of the weather. I went to it on the Saturday of that weekend and it was awesome. Had corporate tent/skybox tickets. The hole at the skybox was a Par 3 with the ocean right behind it. Just felt so un-worthy to be in such a nice environment.

I was in that skybox too. That was the 13th hole, loads of free Grey Goose !!!
