Does anyone know what the max amount you can buy one of these cards for?

Is it only $100?

Do you have to provide your personal information (i.e. social security number etc. to activate them)

Thanks.

The max amount on 1 card is $100 but you can buy as many of those 100's as you want/need. You do not need anything to activate them if you are using them online.

why would anyone use these cards instead of the gift cards you can get a check cashing places that are laso deposable and only cost $4.95 per card and you can get them up to $250 per card. I used them at CRIS before they changed over to bookmaker. You do not have to give any personal information.

Now, if you do not mind giving personal information the re-loadable kind can load up to $2,500 but the fees are a little more as well.

No, it is not tax. it is an activation fee paid to Visa or Mastercard for their services. No tax on gift card purchases.

The cost is the same as at the check cashing place, the sales tax bumbs it up but it is the same amount. Been using them at JAM and getting withdrawals on their debit card. Why bother with western union or other method's.
