This is a great website from a guy who scammed one of the Nigerians who was trying to scam him. The Nigerian actually got a tattoo per this guys request as he said it was needed to join his church and get a large donation. Its very long, yet very hilarious.

Fascinating article at snopes on it

Said NY times ran an article that 100 million of US money had been lost in 15 months. --And thats just the reported money. You have to figure several people would be too ashamed to report it.

It also said the scam has been around in form or another since 1920.
