What are the requirements to raise your wagering limits at TheGreek and BetJam?

I was just wondering this, because I am trying to decide where to play, and if I should do online sportsbooks as my main wagering area or not.

I need to know how much these two books will raise your limits, if say, you have ~$30,000 deposited with them, and what are the requirements for doing so.

Thanks to all that help! :toast:

I think BetJam is more for recreational gamblers, but I'm sure spiro will gladly take your action at the greek.

Okay, I just shot an email over to Wally at TheGreek, and I will be calling BatJam in an hour or two.

Thanks for the help guys!

BetJamaica will not raise limits and if anything will lower your limits. Good book, but they do want bigger action. The Greek will take higher limits over the phone than what they have posted but it's all subject to approval.

Do you supposed that I would be able to wager at TheGreek, and then transfer my winnings to a BetJam account in order for me to withdraw the winnings via their BetJam Debit Card?

That method would make things SO much easier!

So, it kind of depends on how frequently you place wagers, how much you have in your account, etc.

The big thing is how much you win...If your a loser then they will gladly take all your action. But after a big run you might see you limits dropped....not that its wrong for them to do this. You should get everthing in writing just in case they want to limit your bets. This is w/ any book...not just Betjam and Greek

This is the ideal method for big gamblers. They will def. be able to transfer the balance over to BetJam for the withdrawal.

From my understanding though, there is a rollover requirement on transfers like this...

o wow. I don't understand how one branch can have a debit card but the bigger book is still left with check withdrawals.

Intrinzik, just talk to Scotty or Wally from the two books. They are the best in the business with customer service.

Actually, I was just thinking about that aspect & it kinda makes sense.

From what I read, people requesting large checks from Greek are getting it FAST like within 2 days, if not 1 day.

While BetJM focusing on recreational bettors or lower bankrolled bettors, it'd make sense that the debit card fits that audience much better because no ATM in the world can let you w/d $5K within 2 days? This is even taking into consideration of some ATM's, especially near/in casinos, spitting $100's, not $20's. Not only that, a large bettor would not likely to appreciate carrying around large wads of cash if they are not used to doing so.

So I guess it makes sense why Greek has checks as main outlet and BetJM offering a debit card...?

I understand where you're coming from. I wasn't aware that their check processing was still going smoothly despite what the other books are doing. You can only expect the best from these two books.

Now that I think about it....why would you want to deposit 30k into ANY book?? Not saying the OLY and BetJam are not safe because they are as safe as there is. But in this day and age of moving that much $$ why would you take the risk??? Just wondering.

I know people who routinely bet $50,000 per game at the greek on the phone. If you are betting mainstream stuff, they will have no problem with it. If you bet tons of quarters, team totals, womens basketball, props, etc your limits will quickly go back down. They don't have the time or need to get those lines all that right... Want to bet $500,000 on the Pats/Colts playoff game, probably no problem.

For my bankroll for a system(s) I will be using during baseball season. The bigger your bankroll, the more return you get if the system you are using is winning pretty good. There is a huge difference in the amount that you play per play (1-2% of your bankroll MAX) from $30,000 to $10,000. If someone were to have that kind of money available, why not put it all into a good, secure book that pays out on time. In the end you will end up getting more profit.

Usual limit on college hoops there is 2000 so makes sense it would need approval. Sometimes anything over 1000 at all needs approval.
