OFF TOPIC- Need honeymoon help

Getting married in June. I've been looking online for a nice honeymoon spot. We only want to go somewhere for 4 or 6 days and I really dont want to spend over $3000 for the trip. ( I know I am cheapskate but she would rather put the extra towards a new home too).

I know with all the world travelers we have, you guys probably have some great ideas for a romantic, quiet type place. I've been looking at the all-inclusive places, but am open to a good value

Thanks in advance. (scared to think I am asking a bunch of gamblers, but you guys are like family, lol)

Oh, and dont say Vegas, I dont want to get divorced during the honeymoon.

Dominican all inclusive adult packages for under $900 at travelocity. 4 days - the resort is very nice. Very affordable and you'll love it.

If you wait and try and grab a list minute deal you can go almost anywhere in the Carib for under $1000 including air/hotel. 4 days

Don't know whether you're anywhere near a coast or not, but if you can hop a cheap flight into Orlando or Daytona (or can drive there), you can hop on a 4 night cruise for the two of you for under $1000. That includes your room and all your food. Doesn't include alcohol, or gambling expenses.

Caribbean for sure, Antigua, St.Lucia, or St. Barts.

All inclusive the only way to go. I have been treated like a king at all the islands.

I went to the Dominican for my Honeymoon...beautiful water, great seafood and all-insclusive is the way to go imo. I went to La Romana in DR

TN - Funny timing, I'm right in the middle of planning my honeymoon too.
I think I've settled on Punta Cana in DR. Look at a hotel called Excellence, they seem to have a good all inclusive package and right now they are running an early booking deal if you book by end of day tomorrow. It's gotten great reviews on TripAdvisor.com as well.

No No No. Its all in the name. Your Honey dont want to yap with her girls about how shes going to CR or Haiti for that matter. Think nice like Baja California or some spot everyone knows from the Love Boat.

if you're on the west coast, i'd say Maui in a landslide. Best place I've ever been. Beaches are off the hook, and not crowded like Waikiki at all. If you're on the east coast though, 4 days is too short for that long of a flight.

Went to Cozumel last summer and had a great time. Stayed at the El Cozumeleno (all inclusive). Good food, friendly staff and a very nice beach--you can see rays, small barracuda and all sorts of fish right off the shore snorkeling. Great dive op right there if yall are into that (went on 11 dives with them myself). Cozumel in general is slower paced than Cancun (I've been to both and if you wanna hang with a bunch of drunk kids, go to Cancun, if you're looking for something a little more quiet, Coz is great.)

If you go, I highly recommend the Tucan Sailing trip. Most relaxing day of the trip. A great day at a great price, I would do it again in a heartbest.

Also, be sure to check out the prices on whatever location you choose at Apple Vacations. I found them to be much cheaper than the big boys (expedia, travelocity etc.).
