Never seen anything so dumb. It took them 5 minutes to look at the screen and then they still screw it up so horribly!

I want to pull my hair out. That's gotta be close to the worst ref job ever.

I would love to hear how they saw 1.1 seconds go off the clock. Idiocy at its finest folks.

Ball wasn't out of bounds until Calipari touched it. Most people will bash them, but a lot of time had to come off the clock. I think it was about right, and I'm sure that most will disagree with me.

The ref blew his whistle. That's that. Isn't that the rule? The players stop when the whistle blows...

How can you say the ball didn't hit anything until Calipari touched it? If that is the case isn't that a turnover & Memphis ball? I saw a Memphis player hit it with his right hand.

No way 1.1 went off the clock. I'll even give you 5 tenths of a second as a high estimate bu no way 1.1.

Nothing like icing the a&m players by taking forever to decide how long. Does it really take 5 minutes to make that call?

It was like giving Memphis 2 time outs to ice the kicker before they try.

Horrible

The clock doesn't stop until it hits something out of bounds, but the refs do not have the power to change their previous call of when it went out of bounds by looking at a replay. The whistle obviously blew before the guy on the sideline caught it, even though the ball was not out of bounds. So it was the right thing to do to put up 2.0 seconds, but it was the wrong call.

How come they started to look at the monitor, when they came back from commercial?

they couldnt make the decision during the actual timeout? did they have to go the bathroom?

They reviewed it for a reason. And they got it right. The bounce was in bounds.

So if the ball is inbounded and the whistle blows, but it turns out there really wasn't a reason to blow it... and the A&M players all stop... then you run the clock down because the whistle wasn't on purpose?

Bottom line is, the whistle blew and the players stopped. You can't try and figure out what would have been because the players didn't think the ball was live anymore.

Doesn't matters where it bounced it didn't take 1.1 seconds to go from where the Memphis player touched it to out of bounds...maybe 3/10's

Jake is right. They looked at when the ball hit out of bounds and should have listened for the whistle. You can clearly hear it was blown very quickly after the memphis player touched the ball. Was not the right call, but it was the call and should have stood
