I HAVE BEEN SICK OF ALL THE MEDIA HYPE ABOUT THIS OVERRATED TEAM AND ODEN. JUST LIKE THEIR FOOTBALL TEAM, THEY JUST DONT HAVE IT IN THEM. THEY WILL LOSE THIS GAME BY 5-7 POINTS.:smoking:

everytime you look up oden has 2 fouls in the first 10 minutes of the game.

he will be nothing but an average pro at best.

they're 32-3...how are you suppose to rate them?

and 20-13 ATS, as well...so not too hyped, imo

I agree with you all.

Oden is very overated and isn't close to being ready for the N.B.A.

He has no skills at all and it doesn't appear that he cares either. He is lazy and obviously doesn't like the game of basketball very much. You can see it in his eyes.

If he goes pro and gets drafted in the top 5 players of his draft the team that makes that mistake will get worse instantly!

He needs at least 2 more years of college before I would even call him a pro prospect. Look at the score! If Oden was a top pick Ohio State would not be getting killed by Tenn. A #1 pick alone is enough to keep any major college team at least close in a game like this.

There will be no great players in this years draft. That alone might be a reason for him to go pro. But he isn't good at all except for some shot blocking.

Who does he remind you of now?

I agree that he is vastly overrated at this point......but I am also old enough to remember Shaq logging some serious pine time at LSU with 2-3 early fouls. Does it mean he's gonna be the next Shaq? Hell, no. But who thought Shaq would be the next Shaq while riding that pine with Stanley Roberts at LSU???

i see the same thing you do. i think he is SLOW AND LAZY. just dont seem to care. he is going to get a big worthless paycheck next year in the nba and you wont see him anymore because the dumbass will think he is rich and will always have alot of money. the main reason he should stay in school.

You guys are nuts to say Oden is overrated. You know who is overrated? Thad Matta, he is the one who has no clue how to use Oden and he still averages 16/10/4 in his frosh year. Those are pretty good #s. He can barely even get the ball thrown to him because Butler, Lewis, and Harris are busy jacking up 25 footers off of one pass. Oden only averages 2.5 fouls per game also.

Indiana beat LSU and Shaq by 20-30 points in the NCAAs one year. Shaq turned out to be pretty good... This last sentence was to the guy who said the #1 pick should be able to keep a team into the game all by himself

In his defense he's just a Freshman,,,lets not go overboard , enormous potential. Durant at this point is more talented is all I'm saying...then again, I'm not sure anyone has been more talented at this age than Durant.

I presume you think Durant will stay in school then?

Durant looks like another T-Mac except he doesn't drive to the basket. Durant better become 10X's more aggressive if he wants to be a great N.B.A. player. They won't let him shot 3 pointers without some defense on him. He will have to learn how to drive to the basket and pass if he wants to become great at the next level.

After all he really isn't that great in college unless you call a jump shooter great even though he wastes his height shooting 3 pointers all the time. Won't happen in the N.B.A.!
