:bigfinger It's 10:47 pm, and my wife is telling me that "Rick" from Cascade Sportsbook in Costa Rica is on the phone. (never played / signed up with them in my life)
WTF??????????????
Cold-calling is bad enough. To get a cold-call at this hour is TOTALLY INEXCUSABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Total and complete bullshit!! I will campaign wholeheartedly against this TOTALLY CLASSLESS operation from this moment on.
No Excuses whatsoever for such actions. If that isn't a total sign of desperation from a sportsbook, I don't know what is.

Never (well, with the exception of being slow-paid) have I been so pissed at a sportsbook.

got the call as well...

I had fun w/ them last Friday night when they called after 8pm...guy kept on telling me to get excite about March Madness...so I flipped the script, and asked him what March Madness was? He goes 'you know, the basketball thing'...i go, ' you mean the NBA thing?' ...he goes 'yeah, the NBA thing'....ugh, needed some humor.

but the call tonight was annoying...i told him they had the wrong number..hopefully they'll stop, now.

So you would send money to someone who shows you no respect? That's not too smart when it seems that they are cold calling people because they need money, business, new customers or whatever you want to call it!

That's really hard to believe a sports book would call someone at almost 11pm and expect no bad publicity!

Maybe he did not realize there was a 2 hour difference between you and CR...... I know I have made that mistake a couple of times in my life, but its never good to call during game times thats unforgivable......
