good comps I would say no, some places just to get a drink ticket you have to play $200 in sports or $10 in horses to get a ticket(ie. MGM properties), some places are more lenient but not for good comps for sports bettors.

I was hoping maybe i could get a couple $25 mandalay bay buffets a night.

Make your plays on your laptop in your room, enjoy the games in the sports book & buy your buffets with the $50 in juice that you saved(not to mention a 1/2 point beter line that you may find).

Can i expect to earn any comps playing 1 dime a game.with no casino play?

You might get some type of meal out of it but not much. Some places maybe a discounted room of some sort if it's not a busy time. Overall, I'd say not to expect much but ask and see what happens.

i just lost 5 G's the first 2 rounds in vegas, got my ass kicked. i lost 3 in sports and 2 on the tables. I stay at Caesars Palace. When checking out I basically had to get on my hands and knees to get my $150 dinner comped. It is so ridiculous. Especially for sports betting they can give 2 shits about the sports

I asked once and they said I had to bet $10,000 just to get a free buffet.

At the IP it's 4 dollars a point and 200 points for a buffet from the sportsbook.
At least I think it's only 200 points.
They have other food comps etc there too.

Not like it used to be. In the good old days I called into Binion's for the 10 pm special. Since I was early I played a couple of hands of blackjack and as I coloured up the pit said I'd just sat down. So I replied I'd just come in for the dinner special and he wrote a comp to cover it.

That place used to be the best. Now it is one of the worst. Heartbreaking, really.

5 star is right...Caesar's is absurd.

I was there in November betting on football throughout the weekend with a buddy of mine. I opened up a new memebership to their rewards program. My buddy makes it to Vegas maybe once a year, so he just made his plays on my wagers so I could rack up more points since I get out there much more often. We probably put close to 6 grand total into action in those 2 days.

So as I'm checking out, I find out I earned all of $4 on my rewards balance. I don't know if that's seperate from a rewards points program where you redeem those for comps, but Jesus Christ...a .00066 return rate for sports bettors?
