After 2 nights of relative calm, the flock have got agitated as the Weekend approaches and moved on to an escarpment of lush grass where the Sharpy Rustlers have laid some loose ground. Georgetown, Butler and Nth Carolina are the meals of the Day, further up the Hill those who are still left feeding on Totals after recent slaying are nibbling morsels of Overgrowth in every game in the knowledge that overtime things might work out, these Sheep obviously never heard of undergrowth. :drink:

Well, the split in the sides for valley dwellers probably keeps them fairly satisfied with life but although the Hill Flock pushed Butler they must be feeling suicidal to the point that Tomorrow I can see a definite rush down the Mountain and into the Valley of Death. So much so that Sheep moves tomorrow must be BAAAAAed at all cost. :drink:

Thats me fucked then, my whole life will now change. :missingte

So far the valley dwellers have a 24-26 record, which tells you how good the Shepherds are while the Total hill climbers have been fleeced. As expected they have moved down to join the rest of the flock but obviously wary after getting a brand or Two on the Arse. Very quiet so far with only short grazing on Ohio St . :drink:

It just shows how stuborn Sheep can be, after looking through binoculars I've sighted a small contingent high up on the Mountain feeding over Ohio St, ignoring all the carcasses below. :drink:

Rustlers have laid out a beautiful patch of Grass with a sign saying "Only for the UCLA- KANSAS SHEEP" and unbelievably the whole flock are ignoring it, although some are having a long look. :drink:

Both parts of the Flock split Yesterday but theres no doubt the Total hillsiders are worried and fleeing down the hill in big numbers. As a consequence they started a stampede which seen many pushed into feeding on Nth Carolina @ -3.5. There's a good chance they will return later for some lush Georgetown grazing as the Shepherd's have had a hard time using their Dogs to maximum, very few left on total hill now. :drink:

There is one question I've always wanted to ask you. If you're not comfortable responding, I completely understand. The question is why did you give up bookmaking?

We sold up in 1994 as We couldnt compete with the 3 majors who not only had formed a Cartel to buy out the live racing feeds which was costing their shops zero and then charging us extortionate rates for it but they closed Shops close together between them and then fitted the existing ones to a degree not seen before, which put further pressure on us. Basically Betting in Shops was raised to a luxury level on par with a casino where actual down to Earth wagering become secondary. The advent of exchanges like Betfair has given me basically a betting shop within my own home except its 5% maximum overheads. I did have my finger on the pulse for a few Years as I was still in touch with the wideboys back in London, so moving money around for Punters and commission agents was the dish of the day but now its just lay the odds and bet when I feel the Books have got it wrong. None of this is as easy as it sounds however, as everyone is getting wiser and wiser and its an endless task of finding new tricks. :drink:

Loads of BAAAAAing up the mountain as finally the Highlanders go over the top in the Oregon game. While down in the valley their getting stuck into some lovely North Carolina fodder, the high ground bleaters, after their new found success are steaming in under Gtown pastures. It has to be said, the Shepherds are concerned as there's not long left to make hay in the Season. :drink:
