Two teams that would not be denied and two that were just happy to be there.

I will never understand why a player with 2-3 seconds left will just dribble the ball up court, you must pass the ball, a pass can move much further down court than a dribbler.

And what a money shot from Jeff Green...tough spot and he delivered, even though he might have walked. .

Maybe next year for Vandy and Tennessee.

i guess it's legal to change your pivot foot and travel when the game is on the line and seconds remaining in the sweet 16.

Couldn't disagree more. How could you possibly say that either team was just happy to be there? :WTF: :think2:

He definitely walked, you won't see the refs calling it though that late against the higher seed...just like yesterday with the Vols getting jobbed on the last possession by each team.

Has nothing to do with being a higher seed. They just missed it. And in real time, so did the whole world.

They had chances just like Tennessee last night to extend the lead but didn't, inexperience by both lower seeded teams, Vandy and Tennessee didn't have the experience to advance and it cost them.

sure seems like in the last seconds blatant bumping and fouling are ok, years ago that stuff was called

Definitely disagree, a call that obvious is usually made, if this happened to a Duke or UNC this would be headlines for days.

They both played their hearts out, and lost games that came down to the last second. Happy to be there? They proved that they belonged, and were inches from advancing. Don't know where the happy to be there comment came from.

They both lacked killer instinct.

I truly believe refs will lean towards the higher profile team in the crunch, the team that has been there.

Yea it does...I'm not arguing this with you.
Whatever. If you guys knew anything about officiating, you wouldn't be so conspiracy-theory oriented. Bad calls happen all the time, and it's okay to be pissed about them. Doesn't mean anyone did anything intentionally.

I saw it in real time...actually saw it coming 2 seconds before it happened...the ref saw it too...just don't see whistles blown in these situations.

Not in the final seconds, you have never noticed refs call games different in the final minute, go back and watch a Bulls game from the 1990's :hump:

Go back and watch game 6 Chicago Portland 1992 NBA Finals. :puke1:

I thought both teams showed incredible heart. After giving up leads and then trailing, they both came back to take the lead and were in position to win the game, had the ball bounced their way in the final seconds. The reason they couldn't knock the other team out with the lead......is because the other teams were both damn good. They competed until the final horn, and that's all you can ask. They obviously weren't just happy to be there. They wanted to win.

Again i had nothing on the game and I am not at all pissed, I'm glad both GT and OSU advanced (as are the NCAA people) it makes for a better tourney.

I'm not calling it a conspiracy, it is what it is.

I missed it. The whole Vandy team defending him, and the ball bouncing around everywhere, hands in the air.....I can see why they missed it.

Refs swallowed the whistle.. Happens all the time in the closing seconds.

Exactly and most of the time it is for the higher ranked or higher profile team....happens all the time....when you have a higher ranked or favored team on the ropes you better not let the game come down to the last minute....
