Eagles acquired QB Kelly Holcomb and LB Takeo Spikes from the Bills in exchange for DT Darwin Walker and a late-round draft choice in 2008.

Anyone know how much Spikes has left? The Eagles desperately need LB help. Sounds good to me as an eagels fan, unless of course Spikes is a hasbeen now.

Reeger already was slotted to replace walker, holcolm is fine as a young #3 QB, and you spikes to replace dahani jones. Look for spikes to move inside next year (2008) when they let trotter go and one of the kids (Gocong or my shoulder hurts guy) to play the outside in 2008.

1st round pick? Have to figure a safety. 2nd choice (in their minds) would be a CB if one of the top 6 fall that far (doubtful). If the TE Olsen were to fall, he would be taken (LJ contract is up after next year).

My best guess is , if the safety or top CB is not there, they trade down to top 2nd round and pick back up the 4th round pick they gave the saints for stallworth. Then the pick could be a WR who drifted that low.

just an guess

It's official - Marv is suffering from dementia.

I think we still have 1 good player left - anyone want Lee Evans for a 6th rounder and kicking tee?

I like it as well.

You're forgetting about Omar Gaither, who will prob replace Trot on the inside in a year or 2.

And I agree with you on the draft. Safety or CB in round 1.

#1 - Reggie Brown
#2 - Kevin Curtis/Hank Baskett
#3 - Curtis/Baskett
#4 - GLew
#5 - Jason Avant

TE - LJ

Not a receiving corps to be proud of...but McNabb has won with a lot worse. The bigger question is if McNabb will be ready for this season, or if the Birds are gonna have to roll with aJ feely.

no such thing...if you're a fan of the phins in any way, then you're not a fan of the Pats, haha.

I did forget about Clements... what is going on in Bills-land? I'm a pats/phins fan but I just don't understand what they're trying to do this offseason.

We're trying to get better by getting rid of all our good players and over-paying average linemen.

1. Clements - buh bye
2. Fletcher - buh bye
3. McGahee - buh bye
4. Spikes - buh bye

...and you still have Dick Jauron. He is the master of getting teams to .500, whether they are bad or good.

Can someone explain to me what the hell Buffalo is doing? This team has talent but hasn't lived up to it consistently. Wait I take that statement back, they had talent. At the rate they are going, it will be nothing but career backups & strike players in their uniforms.

Look on the bright side, with 49M at his disposal he might raise the appraisal value. Then again, besides that fat .. errr HUGE ... guy selling cars nobody else in WNY can afford it.
