What was he 3-12fg? Wide open 3 to win the game... clankkkkkkkkk.

There were about 10 other players that were more impressive than this guy. He better hope TF wasn't watching... hahahahahahaha.

But UCLA got a STUD in Kevin Love.... finally an inside scorer that they've been missing since Ed O'Bannon. Back to the Final 4 next year!

PRobably shouldn't put too much stock in an All-Star game.

But Love is gonna be a stud, no doubt.

it sounded like Mayo was getting booed in the last 2 minutes as he was gunning fade aways

what a selfish prick...1 possession after the announcers comment on him wanting to win the game after he made pass he guns 3 in a row!

Yeah what's up with that.... 3 on 1 fastbreak and he pulls up for a 3 when they were only down 2.

This is the only kid i wish will fail...

Everything I read about the kid...the whole 'Don't contact OJ, OJ will contact you' to Tim Floyd, was the cherry on the cake.

this kid needs to see some dose of failure...he needs it.

seems like Mayo has let all this hype go to his head. He thinks he's the greatest thing ever coming out of high school.

Remember also he picked USC because it's close to LA and he wants to maximize his marketing ability.

I think he'll end up like Pac Man Jones.

All-star games do mean something. I was ther etonight to watch Eric Gordon who played absolute lockdown defense on OJ Mayo throughout the game. He guarded him the final 7 minutes and Mayo couldn't get around him, but on the other end, Gordon got to the hole about 4 or 5x with Mayo guarding him. This shows exactly why Gordon vaulted ahead of Mayo this summer to become ranked 1/2 in publications while Mayo dropped down to 5 and lower in most(behind Beasley/Gordon/Love/Singler/Rose)

And yes, some fans were yelling overrated at Mayo while he was on the free throw line.

And all the Duke commits got booed when they were announced before the game.... pretty funny.

Isn't he the kid who lit up Jordan's sons for 40+ like Kobe lit up Jordan for 50 in 1/2 half? Hahahahahahahahaahahah!

Agreed...

He also told Floyd that he would be playing there because it is a football school and he wanted to "make his mark" by taking USC hoops to the next level.

He has too many people on the payroll already...

BTW...I wonder if he will eventually give Floyd his cell #?

yes considered by most to be the best guard in the class, explosive to the basket and a sweet shot. went like 17-24 in the game vs the Jordans on ESPN. Some great highlights of his on Youtube

Mayo is a overrated prick. He's sort of like Telfair, just exploded onto the scene during his first two years of high school and never really progressed skill wise since then. Sure he is 6'5'' and has a sweet stroke sort of like Billups but he's not overly athletic and can't seem to play one lick of defense. Players like Gordon are just so much more athletic than him plus Gordon just seem like a hard working player.

eric gordon best player going to college this year period. love is second but is the most talented big man. mayo is the most cocky but is also the third best player. But if he jacks like that in usc games, USC upperclassmen may hav to hav a player only meeting to set him straight. Dont worry pac-10 bball will snap mayo back to reality i hope because if he dont get off that cloud his career will go down the drain.
