I was listening to my Garth Brooks collection yesterday and was listening to FRIENDS IN LOW PLACES, then I asked myself, "HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I HEARD THIS SONG IN MY LIFETIME?". 1000, 10000?

What is you guys best guess on how many times you have heard the song that you have heard the most in your life?

How many times have you heard, SWEET HOME ALABAMA?
How many times have you heard, HOTEL CALIFORNIA?

You get the idea.

It would be neat if there was a way to know.
I dont guess anyone has ever counted each time they have heard a song.

Im guessing for some of the old songs that I have heard since I was a little kid its up in the 4 figures at least.

I had a buddy of mine that I asked this question to yesterday and he says that whatever comercial song you have heard the most in your lifetime only adds up to 4 or 5 hundred times. I think its way higher than that.

Why do sports arenas and even radio still play these damn songs????

YMCA = i can't stand this damn song! Please let the kids play
this crap at their birthday parties or playdates!

Kiss= Rock and Roll all nite! They play this horrible song still at
NBA arenas and i laugh because not one person in the crowd
gives a crap about it.

ACDC= Shook me all nite long. Ok i did like this song up till 1990 and
than after that it took a turn. It turned into a pop song that
every Tom, Dick, Harry and high school kids knows. I can't stand
it and it is way overplayed.

How many times have you heard, SWEET HOME ALABAMA?

:lolBIG: And how many times do you actually 'turn it up' (like the song says) when Sweet Home Alabama comes on...

I have heard every popular southern rock song more times than I care to count...it's unavoidable. For some strange reason, I've also heard the song "You Spin Me Right Round (Like a Record)" more than anyone ever should. It seems that song follows me.
