And what are the signs that convinced you the game was fixed?

Give me some signs in general. I've seen some games that were suspicious but I wasn't 100% convinced they were fixed..

But I know some sharp guys who have told me some stories..

Will Not Name The Teams, But I Know For A Fact A College Game Was Sealed.

My buddy was the starting point guard for a half way major div 1.....He would never tell me straight out, but he let me know one day...."The starting 5 will not be playing tonight because of a team disciplinary action...we are favored by 18, take the other side.....the second string will be starting and the third string will be subbing....

bottom line, his team favored by 18, lost OUTRIGHT.....

Made 3 dimes on the game, but shit, that was back then when books capped ncaa at a dime...If I had that info now, it would be good for at least 50 dimes...That is why these games are fixed...........

The only fixed game I've knowingly seen was Toledo vs. UConn in Dec 2004 Motor City Bowl. QB was "injured" so he had an excuse to play like shit. It was so obvious. Any time there was a pass to the flats, it was a perfect spiral and right on the money. Any time he threw it downfield, the ball would be at the receiver's feet, and 5-10 yards away from him. On a fake punt, a RB fumbled untouched as he was picking up the first down. Toledo punted, and UConn ran the punt back for a touchdown. 4-5 guys missed the tackle near the sideline, and the the last guy was the most obvious. My grandmother could have pushed the guy out of bounds, but this guy got out of his way. Plays like this all day long. The info that was posted by Ace-Ace-'s friend seemed very interesting beforehand, so my brother and I watched the game very closely. It was indeed fixed, no doubt about it. That's the only game that I've seen where I thought so. It definitely happens, but I don't think it's very common. I have a good friend that started for 4 years in the MVC. We've talked about betting. He said that they were aware of the spread before the game, but once it started, it was the furthest thing from their minds. I asked him if they were up 16 with 2 minutes left, and the spread was 17, would they try to cover? He said no, because they didn't think about the spread at all.

Reasonably certain Georgia Tech RB Burns fixed a few games a few years ago.

Another ?

Are the players and coaches (especially baskets) aware of the lines and totals?

Do some get more credit from the alumni for "COVERING", that answer has to yes, the players and coaches know when they are underdogs.

But playing with the spread and FIXING a game are 2 differant entities.

I feel sorry for you guys if you really think the Super Bowl was rigged. It was just poorly officiated under the biggest microscope in sports. There are 50 regular season NFL games a year with similar officiating

I don't know if you would classify this game as being fixed but they sure had an alternative to losing. It was the College football game in Las Vegas when the lights went out. Well executed game plan.

Win = -110 or Push (n/a)

Thank you. If there was even a 1% part of me that thought that I would never bet one hard earned dollar again. EVER!!!!

To each his own.

On second thought all the NBA games were fixed last nite as I had my worst day of the year as I lost close to 14 units. :lol:

The best thing about the fight (unless you lost $$ on it) was lennox's expression when a draw was announced. Looked something like this :monsters-
