Why would you pass up a good play if there were multiple lines you fealt you could take advantage of on a certain day?
Also, going 4-3 every week is impossible. It doesn't matter how you cap a game, it is still sports with random factors. Not every game will play out the way it is suppose to.

i went down to the melbourne dog track and spoke to the manager .
they actually offer a dealers school for free. it last 6 weeks and is 3 days a week.
they had a pretty long list of people wanting to learn.
i gave him my name and he said they were starting one in a few weeks that was full and if they started another he would call. this was back in mid nov.
i havent heard anything since. which is all right with me . i wasnt really gung ho about it.

Eventually 7 bets a week becomes 1000 bets and good luck going 57% over a thousand bets. Like someone else said value is value.
I would rather go 162-138 in a week which is 54% and win 10 units than 4-3 which even if you are betting 5x more per bet (which I think adds stress and you are betting outside your pct of bankroll) you are still at 3x less the profits. More volume creates less luck, more stress (no question for me) and what ever way you slice it 57% over alot of bets (which will eventually happen) is borderline impossibile.

You'll run into volume problems. If you bet $2000 a game and have a 2% edge (with I doubt you'll have anyways), that's 14 dimes a week, at 2% edge= $140 a week, or $20 a day. That won't keep baby in new shoes.
At one play a day, you'd have to bet $5000 to $10,000 a game for the numbers to work out to where you would make 1 to 2 dimes a week. But that's an average and is also assuming a healthy 2% edge.
