Heavy Favorites

Not sure were frankster or trapster are but not plays for the heavy favority system today since vi edit is +60 needs to be +100 or better for dog then play on the favorite. This means playing a lot of chalk but system has worked for last 4 years until all star break or first fifty games. Will post tomorrow if there is a play.

NYY isn't a play. VI has the starting pitch up matchup as Wang v. Shields and the line as -300 NYY. It is Pavano v. Kazmir and the line is -180. Thus, their analysis is no good.

If my memory is correct, +200 or more faves early on usually seem to tank for first 2 weeks or so, no?

ALWAYS CHECK THE DATE ON THE VI WEBSITE!!!!

Sometimes they don't update it accordingly and you see matchups from last year, thus the Index is no good...

Date, pitchers and line.

Line moves occasionally make a game a play or not a play as well. Houston is an example, they show the line as -210 and the VI as 110, so if Houston drops below 200 it isn't a play. Strange as that may sound consider it actually becomes a better value. Opposite can happen too, a team can be a 95 on VI with a -200 line and if the line moves up to -205 it becomes a play.

you only adjust for line movement if it shows movement in the box. We only go against opening lines. If they show the value with line movement move it back to opening line. I e-mailed vi to see if they will update the pages. It seemed to work a few times last year. glta.

After VI updated their site looks like no plays today. No VI edge over 100, maybe tomorrow.

i guess i'm not understand the system because i loss the houston bet. i guess someone else should put it up for posting, i know it is a money maker. frankster/ Fhm/ Coog, u guys should take this over and let's do this.

You had the system correct. However, VI had incorrect information in the NYY/TB game (wrong line, wrong starters). Thus, with the correct information it wasn't a play. I don't know what happened with Hou but from Coog's email it sounded like they updated their analysis and that analysis changed the VI to less than 100.

Any time a game looks like a play you have to check to make sure the information is correct. Additionally, I would recommend playing Listed Home and not action play. This way the bet is cancelled if the Home Starter is scratched which would likely change the game to a no play.

Frankster's input on this would be appreciated if he is around.

No Plays Today

NYY is -310 and VI edge -68 that was the highest edge then HOU -165 and VI edge of -60.

To become a play in the Heavy Favorite System VI edge must be -100 or greater to become a play using the Vegas Insider site under analysis for each game. VI site shows a positive number for dog just use that number for favorite to give you -XXX for favorite. Have to be patient with this system since it may not produce plays everyday. Also, Frankster has always played system using Martingale approach so if system produced a few losers in a row then bet could get hefty to get back up to unit amount trying to win. Only bet what your bankroll can sustain.

Trapster helped track plays last year after first 50 games and I have not heard from him. Trapster can you help again this year???
