Mets +135

First game of the season so not much to go on. Value is with the Mets and Tom Glavin on the mound. Glavin can keep them in the game long enough for Issy to come in and blow the save for the Cards.

Good way to start the season 1-0 (+135)

No sweat dog victory to start the year.

I post only one play for a week or so but never more than three plays on any given day. Just don't believe myself or anybody else can have a real handle on more than a few games on any given day. I you see somebody posting more than three plays then you can be sure they are guessing.

Play for Monday is Tigers/Bluejays Under 8 (-115). All plays are at skybook.

Tigers were a good under team last year. Bonderman and Halliday could turn out to be a great pitchers duel but certainly Halliday is capable of a dominate performance anytime he pitches. Tigers win with good starting pitching but they also had one of the best bullpens last year.

GL tomorrow and go UNDER!

Kissing the sister

Some sloppy work in the 10th (walk and hit batter) cost me the win but I will take the push as final lands on the number 8.

Adding one more to the card

Mariners -125 (Skybook)

Still undefeated in 2007. Passing on the late game. Lacky has always been a tough pitcher for me to figure out so I just stay away from that guy. Be back soon with Tuesdays card.

Tuesday Mets/Cardinals Over 9.5

Both teams were swing the bats well last game. Either Hernandez or Wells or both should get smacked around tomorrow. I would be suprised if both starters were still around after 4 innings.

Over 9.5 (-105)

I am very selective on plays I post. It is a very long season so no need to take the shot gun approach with multiple plays every night.

First loss of the season and it wasn't close

Might be too early to start playing totals. Last year overs dominated early in the season leading to much crying about bullpens and blown saves here at the Rx. My end of May some of the better known cappers had jumped off bridges or hung themselves figutively speaking. Just as many unders as overs so far.....unders may be the smart way to go this year.

I am rambling because I lost my first play of 2007 on the over in Mets game and was lucky to get a push on other total play. I am going to back away from totals for a week or until some trends start to develop.
