After overachieving last year, the Fish are expected to improve. This concerned fan feels the strong rookie performances will come back to earth. Coupled with some injury concerns to key players (Johnson, Hermida, Tankersley), could spell for a long year.
Let's just hope if the Fish do slide that management doesn't panic and firesale key pieces like D-Train and Cabrera as the pieces are there to contend in two or three years down the road.

I put the max on Fla UNDER 77.5 wins. I don't think they've improved any, and the league will have better scouting reports on Ramirez, Uggla, Jacobs, Willingham, etc...

As a fan, I'm hoping I am wrong. However, as a realist and gambler I feel this may be a disappointing year.

The Fish just keep throwing rookies out there. Tonight, De Aza played well, Lindstrom and Owens both come in from the pen. Meanwhile "vets" like Sanchez, Willingham and Messenger played key roles.

Tomorrow they throw out another rookie, Van den Hurk. He pitched A ball last year, but was impressive in spring training.

I think the Marlins can go to the World Series.

I just don't see why not. Their outstanding young players all have a year under their belt. They have the best pitching in their division. Cabrera is money.
