Still early in the year, and WAY early in the baseball season for this. Almost, unacceptable.

However, I feel very strong on TAMPA BAY over the YANKEES +150. I lived in Tampa for years and just recently moved in the fall 45 min. away so I'm very close to this team.

Despite this, it's not a homer pick as I'm a Yankees fan first. Growing up in CT, living in Manhattan for a few years after HS and before college here in FL, both my sisters live in the city (Queens, Manhattan).

Pavano is starting for the Yankees, he hasn't started a game in over a year and a half. Kazmir is a fucking stud, and lives for these games. These are the games he plays for because he's not going to be in the Bay much longer and wants a huge fat contract from a big team like the Yankees or Sox and HATES playing in an empty stadium in St. Pete.

Look for the Rays to be significantly improved offensively this year as Baldelli is 100% (missed most of last season) and DELMON YOUNG will win AL ROY and will be a perennial MVP. CRAWFORD is still looking for big $$$, and won't be on the Rays much longer as early as MID-SEASON.

I'm getting ahead of myself here, as it's opening day @ YANKEE STADIUM. EARLY AND AWAY. DESPITE THIS, every members of the Rays have things to prove this year which is why I think they will be on the hunt EARLY, especially on such a stage as OPENING DAY IN THE BRONX ON ESPN.

I'll update in the morning when I pull the trigger as to how much.

FYI, "Biggest Bet of 2007" is sort of misleading as I rarely surpass 3 units on a play and have bet little so far this year (two 3's)

I'm between 3 and 5 on this play right now. Anyways, going to sleep, be back.

Better play seems to be Kazmir +150 for the 1st 5 innings, only.

Yanks pen is far superior to the D'rays, and the Yanks live to come back in the 8th and 9th inning.

Wow, that is one horrible write-up. I was trashed last night. Oh, well.

BTW, I meant YOUNG will be a perennial All Star not MVP.

It's opening day, who am I kidding - I won't go crazy.

This will be just for 2 (Units).

everytime I see your avatar, I always think it's Kevin Federline. Then I realize it's not and it's De Niro. Then I repeat it again. Like it's Groundhogs day.

I think Pavano will get lit up today. He had a horrible spring and the Rays typically fare well against the Yanks I think.

TB is the best value play on the board. Pavano is a scrub and Kazmir is a stud....D'rays will have a great chance to cash the ticket.

Hope you played this. Just as stated. Kazmir kept them close, D rays took a 5-3 lead. Bullpen blew it open.

Yup, it was my biggest play of the day. I would recommend playing all of Kazmir's games 1st half only. Tampa's pen is absolutely unreliable.
