The games best lefthander, Johan Santana, takes the hill as the Twins battle the Orioles. Santana is the reigning AL Cy Young award winner and is coming off a 19 win season. He also has the pleasure of facing a Baltimore that that finished last season among the worst teams in baseball againt left-handed pitching (.258). The Orioles will start only have three lefties in the line-up against Santana and that isn't good seeing how the Twins lefty limited right-handed hitters to a .208 batting average and a .588 OPS. Santana has historically struggled in April. But his "troubles" would be a great month for most other pitchers. Look for a strong performance from "Santana" tonight.
