Sully always brought coffee when we had do figures at 6 o'clock in the morning. Sully passed away two weeks ago today (Monday 3/19)! Originally from New England, Sully lived for years in Las Vegas where I met him years ago at the Dust Racebook. Always had a kind and sagacious bit of advice when I needed it. He had many , many friends and I was glad to count myself as one also. My condolences go out to all of his friends and family! A true stand-up guy......you will be missed! Say hi to all of the boys up there......Roger, Arty, Faust, Little O and everyone else. Good-Bye My Friend.....I Love You and Will Miss You!

One of my childhood friends passed away several weeks ago. He battled a horrible disease for years, yet through it all stayed positive and upbeat. I hadn't talked with him for a few years and now that he is gone I feel like absolute shit for not telling him how much respect I have for him. Even though we'd gone our separate ways long ago, I still should have picked up that phone....It only takes a minute.

sorry to hear of your loss.

Capn, is this Sully the one who also hung out at the Boardwalk playing the horses and doing some settle up's?

Capn, sorry to here this about your friend. He wasn't a friend but i knew him after a few "meets" at the boardwalk back in 2001. Sully would hang out with "shakey" Harold ( who passed on a few years ago) at the Boardwalk. Sully was a class guy who kept to himself unless you knew him.
Howie told me a little over a year ago that Sully was ill. Sad, another good guy is gone.

Thanks for all the condolence messages.....Sully was an old-timer but could talk to all of us 'kids'.....I will think of him fondly and still miss him!

P.S. Tiny: Where's the e-mails from Paradise?
