It could be their year!

They have a very strong lineup this season. Reminds me of the strong lineup they had 6 or so years ago.

Back when they had Diaz,Thome,Alomar,Fryman,Vizquel,Justice,Lofton,Ramirex, and Sexson

-Damn that was a great lineup - 1999 I believe when they finished 1st in the division

Crap closer.

Borowski may have been able to get out NL hitters with that 84mph junk...

Different story in the AL...IMO.

Very true. As it always has been with the Indian team, the bullpen is their weakest link.

I know!

I actually ran into Casey Blake here in Iowa at the boat storage place this fall. He is a good guy, and I actually got his number and was supposed to take him hunting. Kept putting it off and before I knew it the season was over. He is a very avid duckhunter in the fall.

Yea, He is a big outdoorsman, as I know someone who runs a company in where they take baseball players and athletes of all sorts out on a boat fishing...Sabathia is up to his usual antics haha, im not a big fan of him personally. Im pretty impressed thus far, Sizemore should have another big year for us...Did u get to see Casey play either baseball, football or basketball in H.S.? I know he was an All-American I think in all 3 in Iowa

Im a HUGE Indians fan and cant wait for this year...it still will be no easy task getting by the White Sox and Tigers since we still have no pitching. I like the direction they are headed with Hafner, Sizemore, V. Martinez, and Sabathia but I worry about the bullpen blowing game after game.

first place, at least for a couple days. hopefully tigers keep losing. i think there the biggest threat, gonna be a tough division again this year.

Ya, actually when I played baseball when I was younger Casey Blake coached a hitting camp I went to. He played out in Indianola, was a very big thing then and even bigger now.

I am definitely excited for this year!

I usually go to the Jake about 4 or 5 times a year myself...Most memorable game I've been to was the game when they played Seattle and were losing BIG and had that big rally to come back. Needless to say I caught the rest of it on the radio on the drive home...Never will I leave any ballgame early again haha
